Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post, I did try writing things out, but nothing really felt right to post, until now. I found that when reading my bible and spending time with God, I become inspired, a passion begins to stir in me. So I can't help but share it with you!
First, I want to lay something out. When we are speaking to God, we need to speak as though he is right in front of our face, because he is. The wonderful thing about our friend/God/father is that all we have to do is say 'hey' to hang out with him. He doesn't have to check his schedule, or drive across the world to come. He is just waiting for the words, the words that say, "hey Lord, lets hang out today!" It's sad though, that our God who is so mighty, and majestic so much so, that I don't even have enough words to describe him, would drop everything for us in a heartbeat; and yet we won't turn the t.v. off for 15 minutes to say something as simple as, "hello!"
Now for my second point, when coming before God, we need to come expecting to hear from him. Not selfishly, but we need to speak with confidence to our Lord knowing that he has all the answers and he will not withhold them from those who ask. (Matthew 7:7)

Good post, so true.
